The inclusion of new Brazilian signing Gabriel Martinelli should, in particular, excite Arsenal fans in the United States. The 18-year-old teenage sensation signed a professional contract with Arsenal on July 2 after a strong season in Brazil’s Serie D (fourth division) that even led to a call-up to the Brazilian national team ahead of this year’s Copa America.

Martinelli will be among several young stars looking to impress at this summer’s ICC. Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe have returned to Arsenal after loan deals that saw them play for Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig respectively in Germany’s Bundesliga.

Nelson, in particular, impressed in the Bundesliga. The 19-year-old scored seven goals and one assist in 23 Bundesliga games last season and will now want to nail down a spot in Arsenal’s squad for the upcoming season.

Smith Rowe and Nelson will not be the only young stars in the squad. Arsenal have also included the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah both exciting young English internationals that could leave their marks on this summer’s tournament.

The Gunners, however, are not just taking some young and exciting prospects to the United States. Also in the squad will be 2014 FIFA World Cup winners Mesut Özil and Shkodran Mustafi. Furthermore, the squad will also include star names like Héctor Bellerin. Finally, exciting strikers Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette look to renew their partnership up front when they come to the United States this summer.
